Scholarships are sponsored by the Utah State Office of Education Family and Consumer Science.  Scholarships are open to  full-time Utah FACS teachers.  Scholarships cover early conference registration only.  Lodging, tours, arrangements and other payments are the responsibility of the teacher. Teachers must register separately for the UAFCS conference once scholarship has been approved. Scholarships are limited, apply early.

Instructions:

-          Download the Scholarship application and complete.
-          Make out a check to UAFCS for $85 or $100 (Early Bird Registration amount for UAFCS members and non-members, respectively).  NOTE: Check will be held and returned to you at the UAFCS Conference registration desk, November 4-5, 2011. Checks from conference “no-shows” will be cashed. To avoid being charged for the conference, teachers who find they are unable to attend the conference have the responsibility to cancel their Scholarship Application and Conference registration by November 1, 2011.

-          Scholarship applications and check must be received by: October 14th to be eligible. 

Upon receipt of Scholarship Application, teachers will be notified by email and given a special registration code. Teachers then have 7 days to register for the conference, on-line, using the code provided.

Participants are responsible to book their own rooms for the conference.

Regular room rates range from $150 - $250 a night. Consider booking a second and enjoying the weekend. Room block will be held until October 14, 2011.  Rooms after this date will be on availability basis and at going room rate.
